Parx Casino(r) in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, has a variety of concerts to offer. This fall, the state’s largest casino has free and ticketed events for fans to enjoy.

Xcite Center, Parx Casino(r)’s state-of-the-art music showroom, opened in 2017 as part of a $50 million expansion. It’s designed to bring A-list talent to the area.

Anthony Rodia

A first-generation Italian-American born and raised in Westchester, NY, Anthony Rodia was always able to turn any situation into a comedy. He started out in his 20s by performing at a few open mics, but eventually took a different career path as a finance manager for a luxury car dealership.

In 2019, he decided to return to comedy and left his day job to become a full-time stand-up comic. Within just nine months, he performed 100 shows and has built up a huge fan base online and in the local community.

He’s now one of the most popular comedians in the country. His videos have amassed over 22 million views and his comedy draws from his real life experiences and razor-sharp observations on marriage, parenthood, road rage, and everything else worthy of a social media rant.

In addition to stand-up comedy, Rodia also hosts a weekly digital recording on Podcast One. His co-host is Goumba Johnny, a Bronx-born laid-out radio personality who has been in the business for many years.

Foreigner

After more than four decades of touring, Foreigner is ready to take a break. The band plans to launch its Historic Farewell Tour next July, with 32 U.S. dates on the books through Sept. 3, followed by more legs, both domestic and international, in 2024.

In addition to being one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, Foreigner is also a group that is beloved by its fans. Their music has touched people of all ages and is a classic in its own right.

Since their 1976 debut, Foreigner has had numerous hits, including “Feels Like the First Time,” “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Juke Box Hero.” Their latest studio album, Can’t Slow Down, was released in 2009.

On each of their tours, a local choir is spotlighted, and this will happen again at parx casino concerts 2022. The Bucks County Women’s Chorus, whose charter members have a long history of performing around the country, will perform a few songs during the concert.

Brian McKnight

Born June 5, 1969 in Buffalo, New York, Brian McKnight grew up in a musical family where music ran through the blood. He sang in the church choir with his grandparents and also tried out other genres of music at home.

His older brother Claude McKnight III encouraged him to pursue a musical career. He began writing music and sending demo tapes to various record companies.

In 1992, he signed with Mercury Records and released his self-titled debut album. It sold well and the single “One Last Cry” broke into the top 20.

The next year, he recorded the song “Love Is” with Vanessa Williams for the soundtrack of Beverly Hills 90210. It reached number three on the Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination.

He’s now a successful singer-songwriter, radio host and record producer. He has received more than 15 Grammy nominations. He is a popular live performer who has performed in arenas around the world, and his R&B hits are sure to please audiences.

Paul Anka

Paul Anka is a Canadian singer and songwriter who has a long history of popular music. He has recorded over 125 songs and penned several hits, including “Diana,” which became his biggest single. He also wrote the theme to the television show The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, and the song “My Way,” which was performed on American Idol.

He began singing and writing songs at a young age. He was influenced by Arabic chant melodies his parents brought with them from Lebanon and by the rhyming schemes of poet and playwright William Shakespeare.

When Anka was a teenager, he traveled to New York City with his father in hopes of having his songs published. He landed a meeting with Don Costa of ABC-Paramount Records and sang a song he had written called “Diana” that became a hit.

Anka is now a renowned songwriter and performer, and has toured the world. He has released a number of albums, most of which feature covers of popular songs. He also starred in a number of films that were geared towards teenage audiences.
